    So hungry...

Post by Logan Grey on Wed Jun 23, 2010 6:40 pm

The Dining Pavilion is an area of Camp Half-Blood where the Demigods, satyrs, and camp directors eat their meals. The pavilion is framed in grecian columns on a hill that overlooks the sea. There are no walls or roof that cover the mess hall. Torches blaze from the columns and a central fire burning inside a bronze brazier the size of a bathtub. Each table has a white cloth with purple trim.

The tables in the Pavilion are arranged so that there is a table for each god, similar to the Cabins. Therefore, children of Hermes sit at the Hermes table, children of Aphrodite at the Aphrodite table, etc. Although Big Three children often have to sit on their own, it is expressly forbidden to sit with another god's table. Hunters sit at the Artemis table when visiting, and the satyrs and nymphs can sit at any table they please, but generally sit at the table that Dionysus sits at, which is table 12.
Every night they half-bloods give a portion of their foods to the gods through burning it into the pavilion fire.

When Logan entered the open pavillion. He was stunned to the looks of it. Tables where occupied by the mouth watering food. Pizza, Roasted Barbecue, Spaghetti, Salads and many more. He stomach grumbled. "Oh Gods, I need to eat now!" He said as he then walked over to the dining pavilion..grabbed some food for the god of oceans..Posidon. Logan burned and offered it, "For the God of Oceans! Hi Dad!" He said as he dashed at his table and saw some other campers who offered their food and some we're not that quite gentle at their parent so they always eat not minding the offerings they should do. "So here goes nothing..." Logan said as he ate all the food left on his plate.
